Terms of Service

Agreement
By using this website or submitting a request to Rail Proof, you agree to these terms. If you act for a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept them on its behalf.
The service
Rail Proof verifies claims against defined evidence standards and issues records that third parties can authenticate. The service is currently offered on an early-access basis and features may change.
Your responsibilities
You must have the right to submit the information and evidence you send, and it must be accurate and complete. False, misleading, or unauthorised material may result in records being revoked and access removed.
What a record means
A verification record states what was checked, against which source, under which evidence standard, and on what date. It is not financial, legal, investment, or compliance advice; a guarantee of future conduct; or an endorsement.
Anyone relying on a record should confirm the evidence standard shown and perform any additional diligence their obligations require.
Accuracy and monitoring
Records reflect information available at the time of checking. Continuously Monitored records are re-checked on a recurring basis. We may update, suspend, or revoke a record if underlying facts change or evidence no longer supports it.
Intellectual property
The Rail Proof name, logo, site content, and verification format remain our property. You retain ownership of submitted information and grant us the rights needed to verify it and maintain resulting records.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rail Proof is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or reliance beyond what a record's stated evidence standard covers.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date above reflects the latest version. Questions can be sent to hello@railproof.me.
